ADSL Filters & Splitters – Customer End

The ACMA Telecommunications Labelling Notice requires ADSL Filters & Splitters to be assessed to determine the separation of ADSL signals from POTS signals and inserted losses of the filtering components.\

Telstra Requirements - RCIT.0004
(Customer End & Network End)

Telstra has also developed an ADSL Splitter specification (based on ETSI specifications) for the purpose certifying connection of these devices to the Telstra ADSL Network. Successful completion of testing to Telstra IP1149 (for CPE end) and Reference RCIT.0004 and subsequent certification by Telstra, will allow the ADSL Filter to be listed by Telstra.
