Television Receiver Compliance Guide

  1. Televisions are determined as “Declared Items” by the Australian electrical regulators, and as such, must be tested to AS/NZS 60065 for safety. A Certificate of Approval must then be obtained from an Australian or New Zealand electrical regulator such as the Office of the Chief Electrical Inspector in Victoria.

  2. The Television must also comply with the Australian and New Zealand EMC requirements and be tested to AS/NZS CISPR13 or the European Equivalent of EN55013.
